How it works
When a report is issued, iva.pt stores the VIES response and the report data and computes their SHA-256 fingerprint — a 64-character code that changes completely if any data is altered. The fingerprint is printed on the PDF. Here you can confirm that the report exists and see the original data, or upload the PDF to confirm the file has not been modified.
